Within the ENEA’s Brasimone Research Centre, there is ExaDrone Academy. The first R.E. of the Italian Government recognized by ENAC and entitled to issue European Drone Flight Permits. 

The ExaDrone team is made up of experienced pilots and university lecturers, who meet every student’s expectation and curiosity.

The aim is to provide theoretical instruction, not limited to the material needed to pass the examination. The Academy wants to equip the student with a wider knowledge of the subject, in addition to awareness and safety during flight.

ExaDrone provides several services to support the customers, such as: STS Planning and SORA, professional field surveys, consulting on operator manuals and provides the flight field. The latter is equipped with two ENAC certified runways in BVLOS mode.

The Automation and Control Laboratory is a key component of ExaDrone Academy. The laboratory is managed by METAPROJECTS, specialized in research and development of new technologies in electronic engineering applied to the world of drones, such as: sensor technology, software and innovative applications.

ExaDrone Academy aims to train experienced people, aware of the importance of the operations they carry out and cultivate a passion for fun, eco-sustainable and highly developed activity. All this represents a future with a protagonist in the world of transport: the Drone.
